In the Toddler Room

Our toddler room is the natural progression from our baby room at the age of 2. We have a cosy room full of exciting toys offering construction, role play, literacy, and music. Also, we have a brightly coloured craft room for all things messy and creative! Children are encouraged to sit and participate in short group activities and follow a very loose routine that will prepare them for moving into the pre-school room. Children are encouraged to do independent hand washing at our miniature sinks, and independently select their own snacks and feed themselves at meal times. In particular, there are miniature toilets for when they feel ready to toilet train. Also, we will support the child and work alongside the parents every step of the way.

What you can expect for your Toddler

Your toddler has a multitude of exciting learning opportunities, and many they will encounter for the first time. Also, toddlers master many new skills through repetition. So, with careful guidance from our supportive and experienced team of early years practitioners, your toddler will be in safe hands.

Communication and language is much more than just talking. Particularly, we lay the foundation for speech through a love of stories and the introduction and understanding of new words.

This is such an exciting time for your child as they begin to investigate, explore, forge friendships. Also to develop their independence in a secure and supportive environment.
