Baby Childcare

Baby childcare is vital to ensure your baby is developing and achieving their full potential from a young age. In our baby room is split into two very different rooms. We have a lovely cosy, natural and holistic space, filled with a variety of natural objects, materials, treasure baskets and music to help relax and calm the children. Also, we also have a bright and colourful craft room where the babies can enjoy messy play, exploring a variety of sensory and malleable materials. Babies love to explore and experiment through a variety of sensory and play experiences and we keep them stimulated with activities whilst understanding that they also need a balance of calm and snuggly time so that as not to become overwhelmed.

What you can expect for your baby

Your baby may already have a routine. We will follow this in the nursery. A baby’s childcare is built around sensory play. As a result, this supports their cognitive growth, language development, social interaction and a range of skills. Such as, fine and gross motor skills and, problem solving.

Research has shown that sensory play builds nerve connections in the brain’s pathway. Furthermore, this is the babies way of making sense of the world around them. This is by touching, tasting, smelling, seeing, moving and hearing. In addition, this will lead your baby to more complex learning tasks.

Sensory activities facilitate exploration, investigation and create stronger connections to process and respond to sensory information.

Our staff provides a secure place for your baby to explore. They are highly trained to meet the needs of your baby. Also, your baby’s childcare will include spending one to one time with a staff member. In particular, this will help to develop secure attachments enabling self-confidence that stays with them for life.
